A theme demo in your theme is a pre-defined combination of configuration settings in the WordPress Customise section and a static homepage. You may easily activate a demo or switch between them without importing the demo content or affecting the existing content.
It’s a very convenient feature if you have existing posts and content and don’t want to import any dummy data, but you still would like your website to replicate a demo of our theme.
To activate a demo, simply navigate to Appearance → Theme Demos hover over the desired demo and click on Import next to a demo thumbnail.
Import Theme
When you activate a theme demo, several automated steps are performed to ensure the demo looks and functions exactly as intended:
Plugin Installation and Activation
You will be prompted to install and activate the recommended plugins required for the theme to work properly:Elementor – for building and customizing page layouts.
Regenerate Thumbnails – to correctly resize and display images.
Contact Form 7 – to add and manage contact forms.
A full list of recommended plugins for installation can be found in the documentation in the Plugin Installation section.
Applying Predefined Theme Settings
The demo automatically applies its predefined configuration: typography, color palette, header and footer layout, widget areas, and other style settings.Importing Content and Layouts
A static homepage with ready-made blocks and design elements will be created.
Demo widgets and Customizer settings will be applied.
The newly created homepage will be automatically assigned as your Front Page.
This process ensures your site immediately replicates the selected demo design, while your existing posts, pages, and media remain untouched.
