Statistics

The Statistics page (Supercharger → Statistics) shows engagement metrics collected by the active modules.

What Is Tracked

Supercharger collects non-personal, anonymized interaction data for each module:

  • Impressions — How many times a module’s widget was displayed to a visitor.
  • Clicks — How many times a visitor interacted with a module (e.g., clicked a recommendation).
  • Read Time — Estimated reading time on pages where modules are active.

Data is stored locally in your WordPress database. No data is sent to any external service.

Filtering Data

You can filter the statistics view by:

  • Module — View metrics for a specific module only.
  • Time Period — Select a date range to narrow the view.

Interpreting the Data

Click-through rate (CTR) is one of the most useful metrics. It tells you what percentage of readers who saw a module’s widget actually engaged with it.

  • A low CTR on recommendation modules (Recommendations, Inline Recommendations, Continue Reading Chips, etc.) may indicate the suggested content isn’t relevant enough — consider lowering the similarity threshold in the module’s settings.
  • Some modules are display-only and do not produce click data (e.g., Paragraph Highlights). For these, impressions and read time are the meaningful metrics.

Data Retention

Statistics are stored indefinitely by default. You can clear all statistics data from Supercharger → Tools if needed.
