Blocks

In addition to automatic content injection, Supercharger provides Gutenberg blocks that you can insert manually into any post or page using the block editor.

Available Blocks

Recommendations Block

Manually insert the AI Recommendations widget at any position in your content — not just at the bottom of the post. This is useful when you want recommendations to appear mid-article or in a custom layout.

How to insert:

  1. In the block editor, click the + to add a new block.
  2. Search for Supercharger Recommendations.
  3. Insert the block where you want it.

The block will display semantically related posts based on the current post’s content, the same as the automatic version.

Pull Quote Block

Manually place an AI-generated or manually entered pull quote anywhere in the article using a block, rather than relying on automatic insertion.

How to insert:

  1. Search for Supercharger Pull Quote in the block inserter.
  2. Add it to your post.
  3. The block will use the AI-generated quote by default, or you can enter custom text directly in the block.

Automatic vs. Manual Placement

Most Supercharger modules inject their output automatically based on module settings. Blocks give you the option to manually place output in a specific location — ideal when:

  • You want a widget in a position the module doesn’t support automatically
  • You’re building a custom post template with specific layout requirements
  • You want to include a Supercharger widget on a page or custom post type that isn’t in your default processing list

Notes

  • Manually placed blocks will render even if the corresponding module’s automatic insertion is disabled. The block and the automatic output are independent.
  • If both the automatic module output and a manual block are active for the same module on the same post, both will render. Ensure you’re not duplicating widgets unintentionally.
