DeepSeek offers capable language models that are well-suited for content analysis and generation tasks.
Capabilities
- Text generation (summaries, highlights, quotes, etc.)
- Embeddings: not supported
Getting an API Key
- Go to platform.deepseek.com and create an account.
- Navigate to the API section.
- Create a new key and copy it.
Configuring in Supercharger
- Go to Supercharger → Settings → API Integration.
- Select DeepSeek as your provider.
- Enter your API key in the DeepSeek API Key field.
- Click Save Settings.
Models
The default model is deepseek-v4-flash. You can override this with any model available on your DeepSeek account.
Notes
- DeepSeek does not support embeddings. An OpenAI API key is still required if you want to use the AI Recommendations module.
