Supercharger adds a dedicated panel to the WordPress block editor (Gutenberg). When you open any post in the editor, you’ll find a Supercharger tab in the right-hand sidebar.
Opening the Sidebar
- Open a post in the Gutenberg block editor.
- In the top-right toolbar, click the Supercharger icon, or open the Plugins panel from the sidebar and locate Supercharger.
Status Section
The top of the sidebar shows the AI processing status for the current post:
- Indexed — Whether this post has been added to the vector index
- Generated — Whether AI content (summary, highlights, etc.) has been produced for this post
- Last Updated — When the post was last processed
A green indicator means the post is fully processed and up to date. An amber indicator means processing is pending or the content has changed since last generation.
Active Modules
A list of which modules are currently outputting content for this specific post. Modules that have been excluded from this post (see below) are shown as inactive.
Exclude This Post
Toggle the Exclude from Supercharger option to prevent all Supercharger processing and output for this post. This is useful for:
- Pages or posts where AI widgets would be inappropriate (contact pages, legal pages, etc.)
- Posts you manage entirely manually
- Posts that are placeholders or drafts not yet ready for AI processing
Excluding a post also removes it from the semantic index, so it won’t appear in other posts’ recommendations.
Regenerate Content
Click Regenerate to manually trigger re-generation of AI content for the current post. This is useful after:
- Significantly editing the post content
- Changing your AI provider or model
- Clearing cached AI data from Tools
Regeneration is queued and runs in the background. The status indicator will update when complete.
Manual Overrides
See Overriding AI Results for detailed documentation on overriding the AI-generated content for individual modules.
