Purpose: Automatically extracts the most compelling sentence or phrase from an article and displays it as a styled pull quote, adding visual interest and reinforcing a key idea.
What It Does
The module analyzes your post content and selects the single most impactful, shareable, or thought-provoking line. That line is rendered as a pull quote — a visually distinct block that breaks up the article layout and draws attention to a standout idea.
This is a display-only module. Pull quotes do not have interactive elements and are not clicked by visitors.
How It Works
When a post is processed during background indexing, Supercharger sends the article to your AI provider which identifies the strongest quote candidate. The selected text is stored and inserted into the post content as a styled <blockquote> element on subsequent page loads — no AI call happens when a visitor views the page.
Smart Insertion allows the AI to determine the best placement — it finds the paragraph after which the quote has the most natural flow, rather than always inserting it at a fixed position.

Appearance
Colors (background, text, icon/accent), typography, padding, and spacing are adjustable in the Styles tab. The default style includes a decorative quote icon with a two-color gradient.
Overriding the Quote
If the AI-selected quote isn’t what you’d prefer, you can override it manually from the Supercharger sidebar in the Gutenberg editor. Clear the override field to revert to the AI-generated version.
Tips
- Works best on longer articles with several substantial paragraphs. Very short posts may not produce impactful quotes.
- Smart Insertion produces the most natural placements in most cases.
